Millstone Peated PX is a Dutch single malt, matured for six years entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Zuidam distilled it on 9 November 2016 from malt peated to 50 ppm and bottled it on 24 November 2022 at 46%. It comes in a 70cl bottle in a tube, is non-chill-filtered and has natural colour.
The nose combines soft smoke and dark fruit with liquorice, spice, orange, candied lemon, raisins and plums, with a hint of herbal tea. The palate offers raisins, dates, orange and plum alongside smoke and chocolate, with cinnamon and nutmeg. The long finish keeps dark chocolate, tobacco and fading smoke.
