Millstone Peated Tawny is a Dutch single malt from Zuidam Distillers, made with peated malt and matured in Tawny Port casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines peat smoke with red fruit, dried fruit, raisins and a light sweetness. The palate is full, with clear peat and soft smoke set against berries, raisins and ripe fruit, plus spice, vanilla and subtle wood. The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke and spice, sweet fruit and a light port influence.
