Millstone Rye 92 is a Dutch rye whisky from Zuidam Distillers, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. A substantial share of rye in the mash gives it a spicy, peppery character, and it is matured in oak.
The nose offers rye spice and fresh wood with vanilla, grain and a light sweetness. On the palate, rye spice, pepper and oak sit alongside vanilla, caramel and sweet grain. The finish is long and warming, with lingering pepper and oak and the rye still clear.
