Millstone Special #33 is a 4 year old Dutch single malt from Zuidam Distillers, released as a limited edition. It was distilled in 2020, matured entirely in Amontillado sherry casks and bottled in 2024 at 46%. The malt is unpeated.
Fresh lemon and citrus on the nose give way to raisins, chocolate and deeper sherry-cask aromas. The palate is rich, with dried fruit and raisins balanced by citrus, warming spice and a bittersweet, nutty character. The finish is medium in length, with sweetness, dried fruit and gentle spice.
