Millstone Special #35 is a peated Dutch single malt from Zuidam Distillers, distilled in 2019 and matured for six years in Rivesaltes wine casks. It was bottled in 2025 at 46% ABV, in a release of approximately 1,500 bottles.
Peat smoke meets the dark fruit character of the Rivesaltes casks. The nose combines smoke with honey, dark raisins and ripe fruit. On the palate, smoky malt sits with ripe plums, dried figs, raisins, nuts and warming spice. The finish is long and gently dry, with lingering peat smoke, dark chocolate and dried fruit.
