Monkey Shoulder Smokey Monkey is a blended malt whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was created to bring a smoky edge to classic cocktails.
The blend is made from malt whiskies, one of which is peated and comes from Ailsa Bay. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks.
The palate is described as sweet vanilla, fiery black pepper and bright citrus, with earthy peat smoke building in the background.
