Morin Hors d'Age 15 Ans Calvados (70cl)

A 15-year-old calvados from Morin, a family-run distillery founded in 1889 in Normandy. It is a spirit distilled from apples, aged in the distillery's own historic cellars, where the humidity suits slow maturation. The blend comes from a careful selection of the best terroirs and uses several varieties of apple with differing aromas. The back of the bottle shows an apple tree with Eve and the serpent, and the line 'if Eve had been in Normandy'. On the nose it is intense, with baked apple, cloves and cinnamon among toasty hints. The palate is full and round, with a balanced, rich body, leading to a fruity finish of ripe apple. Serve at room temperature and give it a few moments in the glass.
