This is a 13 year old Mortlach, a Speyside single malt distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2026 at 56.5% for the Lady of the Glen series by Hannah Whisky Merchants.
It was matured in a single first fill Oloroso sherry cask and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings dark raisins, leather, cocoa and sherry sweetness with spice and polished oak. The palate is oily, with treacle, dried figs, roasted nuts and dark chocolate, and the finish is long and warming, with sherry, spice, espresso and oak.
