This is a 13 year old single malt from Mortlach in Dufftown, part of the 2021 Special Release. Its character draws on the myth of a moonlit beast of the town.
The whisky was distilled in 2007 and matured in a mix of virgin and refill American oak casks. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.9% abv, without chill filtration, and its colour comes from the casks alone.
