Mortlach 14 Years is an official distillery bottling of Speyside single malt, labelled Alexander's Way and made for the travel retail market. It is bottled at 43.4% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. The label also carries the words 2.81 Distilled and The Beast of Dufftown.
The nose brings orange, pepper and oak. On the palate the flavours follow the nose with good complexity, adding notes of wood and citrus, and the finish is medium in length with ginger, pepper and honey.
