A 13-year-old Mortlach single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 by Hunter Laing for its First Editions series. It is a single cask release of 263 bottles, matured in a refill hogshead and bottled at 59.1% in a 70cl bottle. The colour is natural and the whisky has not been chill-filtered. The nose is rich and intense, with vanilla, malted barley and gentle floral and orange blossom notes. The palate is dry and slightly waxy, with grapefruit and a clear minerality, leading to a long, fruity and dry finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
