This is the 2022 Special Release from Mortlach, a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 57.8% ABV.
Mortlach is the oldest distillery in Dufftown, the centre of Speyside, founded in 1823 on the banks of the Dullan. Its water comes from the Conval Hills, and the whisky is distilled in six stills, one of them called wee witchy, meaning little witch.
