This is an 11 year old Glengoyne single malt, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at 56.6% ABV by Murray McDavid. It belongs to the Benchmark series, which forms the heart of the Murray McDavid range. Murray McDavid was founded in early 1994 and became an independent bottler of Scotch whisky known for using a variety of interesting casks under the banner of The Art of Maturation. Here the maturation is in a single bourbon barrel.
