This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Nc'nean, released in 2023 as a limited edition in the annual Huntress series. It is bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with 4,556 bottles produced.
The whisky was distilled in 2018 and matured for four years in a mix of 35% ex-bourbon casks and 65% STR red wine casks.
The nose brings red fruit, berry jam, cherries, vanilla, light spices and a hint of forest aromas. The palate is sweet and energetic, with strawberry, raspberry, caramel, toasted wood, spices and forest fruit liqueur. The finish is medium to long, with red wine, spices and soft oak sweetness.
