Nc'Nean Organic Huntress is the Spring 2022 Release, the first expression in the distillery's seasonal series. This Highland single malt is made from 100% organic Scottish barley and limited to 4,447 bottles, in a 70cl bottle at 48.5%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The vatting is 39% ex-bourbon casks and 61% STR red wine casks, meaning shaved, toasted and re-charred.
The nose is fresh, with tropical fruit skins, honeycomb and gentle floral notes. The palate is lively and textured, with pineapple, mango, citrus zest and creamy malt, plus soft vanilla. The finish is clean, fruity and gently sweet, with tropical fruit and honeyed cereal.
