Nc'Nean – Quiet Rebels Lorna (70cl, 48.5%)

Lorna is the second release in the Nc'Nean Quiet Rebels series, centred on Lorna Davidson, who has been part of the team from the start. It is an organic single malt Scotch, bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle and limited to 7,560 bottles. The whisky matured in bourbon casks and in casks that previously held Pineau des Charentes, a sweet-sour fortified wine from France. These add light and exotic fruit to the soft sweetness of American oak. The notes of banana bread, grapefruit and peach ice cream suit Lorna's liking for sweet whiskies.
