Negroamaro Salice Salentino DOC - Feudo Monaci

A Negroamaro Salice Salentino DOC with an intense ruby colour and violet reflections. The nose shows ripe black fruit and marasca cherry, soft Mediterranean spice and a light earthy undertone. The acidity supports the aromas, while mature, well-integrated tannins give a solid but balanced structure. The palate is enveloping, with good concentration and freshness, and a pleasant finish of dark berry fruit and a hint of pepper. It pairs well with grilled meats, rich ragù, hard cheeses and tomato-based dishes. Serve slightly cooler than room temperature.
