A red wine from Feudo Monaci, made in the Salento IGT.
It has a deep ruby colour. The nose opens with ripe red fruits and plum, with sweet spice and a herbal hint recalling thyme and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, with round tannins and freshness, supported by a savoury note that extends the persistence.
It suits rustic Mediterranean dishes such as grilled meats, meat ragù and hard cheeses, and can be served slightly cool.
