Neidhal Peated Indian Single Malt Whisky, Amrut Single Malts of India (75cl, 50%)

Neidhal is a peated Indian single malt in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 50%. It is the first release in Amrut's Single Malts of India range of independent bottlings, made from whisky Amrut did not distil itself. The peated spirit came from an unnamed coastal Indian distillery. Its name is the Tamil word for a coastal region or a place near the sea. Amrut aged, blended and bottled it after a complex maturation in its Bangalore distillery warehouses. It is described as rich and unctuous, with dry, smoky, dark chocolate aromas and flavours balanced by fruit and vanilla sweetness.
