An 18-year-old rhum agricole from Martinique, distilled in 2004 and limited to 285 bottles. It is a blend matured in a 300-litre Cognac cask and a 190-litre Bourbon cask.
The distillery was founded in 1932 by brothers Adrien and Hildebert-Pamphile Neisson and remains family-owned. Neisson is the only farm on Martinique with its own sugar cane fields, and the rhum is tropically aged on the island.
The nose shows generous sugar cane, spices, subtle liquorice and exotic fruits.
