Neisson Le Rhum Vieux is an agricole rum from the Neisson distillery in Martinique. It is made from fresh sugar cane juice and matured for between three and nine years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon. No colouring, chill filtration or added sugar is used.
In aroma it shows wood, vanilla, honey and dried fruit. The palate is full and varied, with notes of exotic fruit, leading to a silky soft finish.
