Nelson Brothers Classic Blended Bourbon is a small-batch blend of straight bourbons from Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, bottled at 46.65% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
The mashbill is 64% corn, 30% rye and 6% malted barley, and the whiskey is aged for a minimum of four years in new charred American oak barrels. It replaced the Belle Meade Bourbon line as the distillery's flagship national release.
Baking spice and cherry cobbler lead the nose, with toasted oak, vanilla and cocoa. The palate brings banana bread, milk chocolate, clove and black pepper, and the finish is medium-long with soft spice and sweet tobacco.
