Nelson Brothers Cognac Cask Finished Bourbon is a high-rye straight bourbon from Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, Tennessee, bottled at 48.35% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It was aged in new charred American oak, then finished in French oak Cognac casks from Southwestern France. It is part of the distillery's Cask Finish Series and is non-chill filtered.
The nose shows pear, crème brûlée and raspberry. On the palate come nutmeg, shortbread and honey, balanced by high-rye warmth. The finish brings apple, toffee and clove.
