Nelson Brothers Reserve Bourbon (75cl, 53.9%)

Nelson Brothers Reserve is a blended straight bourbon from Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, Tennessee, created by Andy and Charlie Nelson. It is bottled at 53.9% ABV (107.8 proof) in a 75cl bottle, without chill filtering. The blend is made from well-aged, high-rye straight bourbons, with a mash bill of corn, rye and malted barley. It is the higher-proof, older-barrel counterpart to the distillery's Classic Bourbon. The nose is cherry, maple syrup, sweet mint and cinnamon roll. On the palate come caramel, allspice, cherry and hazelnut, followed by a long, warming finish of earthy cocoa, allspice and cherry cobbler.
