Nelson Brothers Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 53.9%)

Nelson Brothers Reserve is a high-rye straight bourbon from Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, bottled at 53.9% ABV (107.8 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is the higher-proof expression in the Nelson Brothers range. It is a blend of selected bourbon barrels, typically aged around six to seven years, rather than a single barrel. The nose offers cherry, vanilla, marshmallow, caramel and baking spice. The palate brings caramel, baked apple, cinnamon, hazelnut and dark cherry, and the finish is long and warming, with spice, cocoa, leather and oak.
