Nero d'Avola Cartagho Mandrarossa

Nero d'Avola from south-western Sicily, made from carefully selected Nero d'Avola grapes. Fermentation is controlled in steel, followed by bottle ageing that preserves freshness and roundness. The wine shows an intense ruby colour, with aromas of mature cherry, plum and light spice, soft but structured tannins and a broad, enveloping bouquet. It suits Mediterranean dishes based on red meat and aged cheeses.
