This is an eight-year-old single barrel wheated straight bourbon from New Louisville Whiskey Co, a sister company of Nulu. It is bottled at a cask strength of 71.7% ABV in a 75cl bottle, and as it is above 70% it falls into the Hazmat bourbon group. Part of its maturation took place in the PCS Distilling warehouse, where the barrel was heat-cycled to raise the proof and viscosity. It is a limited edition for Kentucky. The tasting notes mention burnt sugar, toffee and toasted spice in a buttery, full-bodied texture.
