The nose has clove oil, burnt orange peel, charred oak and a hint of maple syrup over rye spice. The palate is bold and oily, with cracked black pepper, toasted rye bread, molasses and dark cherry. The finish is long and peppery, leaving spice, dark cocoa and barrel char.
