Nikka Black Rich Blend is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It combines light grain whisky with selected malts from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.
The character is malt-led and silky rather than peaty.
The nose has ripe peach, honeycomb and vanilla cream with a gentle waft of malt. The palate is mellow, with caramel, soft fruit, biscuit and a hint of cocoa. The finish brings lingering sweetness and faint wood spice.
