Nikka – Coffey Grain Whisky (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Coffey Grain is a Japanese grain whisky from the Nikka distillery, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is made mainly from corn and distilled in a Coffey still. The Coffey still is a continuous still, patented by Aeneas Coffey in 1830. Masataka Taketsuru valued this type of still because it keeps the flavours of the ingredients and gives the whisky a distinctive texture. The flavours are described as complex, sweet and soft.
