Coffey Malt is a Japanese whisky from Nikka, bottled at 45%. It was developed in 2013 as a result of Nikka's ongoing experiments, with the aim of widening the range and offering more excitement.
It is made entirely from malted barley and distilled in a Coffey still, then matured in old casks. The approach is intended to bring out a rich maltiness, complexity and a silky texture.
