Nikka – Coffey Malt (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Coffey Malt is a Japanese single malt bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is made entirely from malted barley. The story of Japanese whisky is tied to Masataka Taketsuru, whose family had made sake since 1733. His first employer sent him to Scotland in 1918 to learn whisky production, and a few years later he founded the first whisky distillery in Japan, in Osaka. He is regarded as a pioneer of the country's whisky industry.
