Nikka – Coffey Malt Whisky (70cl)

Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky is made entirely from malted barley, but distilled in Nikka's Coffey stills, equipment normally used for grain whisky. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The approach reflects Nikka's history of experimentation, which goes back to Masataka Taketsuru's aim of joining Scottish technique with Japanese precision. The nose is soft vanilla, gentle oak, ripe stone fruit and a touch of caramel. The palate is smooth and creamy, with toffee, peach, light spice and a biscuity maltiness. The finish is warm, mellow and lightly sweet.
