Nikka – Coffey Malt Whisky (75cl, 45%)

Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky is a Japanese malt whisky bottled at 45% ABV. It is distilled from 100% malted barley in a Coffey still, a method that is rarely used for malt because of the skill and complexity it demands. The Coffey still gives the distillate a depth and character not found in the modern column stills of today. It is typically described as having notes of cinnamon, clove, lemon and rich oak, and can be sipped neat or used as the base spirit in a cocktail.
