Nikka From The Barrel is a Japanese blend of several malt and grain whiskies from Nikka's reserves. It was made to bring across the full flavour and richness of whisky as a blender would taste it straight from the cask.
The blend carries plenty of character at 51.4% ABV, so it is rested in used casks for three to six months to let the components marry and settle. It comes in a short, square bottle, intended to suggest a small lump of whisky and the rich, strong taste inside.
