Nikka Days (70cl, 40%)

Nikka Days is a blended Japanese whisky made with spirits from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. It is slightly peated, balancing fruity and malted flavours, and is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers fresh apples, pears, honeydew melon, strawberry, orange oil, malt sweetness and lemon cheesecake. The palate is smooth and creamy, with roasted nuts, toffee apple, toasty malted cereal and vanilla fudge, a hint of barrel char and juicy apples. The finish is buttery lemon shortbread with sugar and vanilla pod.
