Nikka – From The Barrel (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From The Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 51.4% ABV. It is made from more than 100 different batches of malt and grain whiskies, which are then harmonised for a few months in used, mature barrels. The strength, close to 90 British proof, was settled on by Nikka's blenders after repeated experiments to find the taste profile they wanted. The result is described as mellow.
