Nikka – from the Barrel

Nikka from the Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky. It combines single malts from the Yoichi distillery with single malts and grain malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, and its character leans towards sherry. The colour is a dark amber. Subtle wood, sherry, plums and figs show on the nose. The palate is light and dry with sherry, dates, figs, leather and black tea, over a light sweetness. The finish is of medium length and slightly oily.
