Nikka Frontier is a Japanese whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 48% abv.
Smoke comes first on the nose, with orange and lemon, vanilla, toasted grain and dark chocolate. The palate is full, with sweet fruit, peat and caramel, followed by bitter chocolate, baked apple and a pinch of white pepper.
The finish is long, with soft oak, a mild bitterness and a smoky, faintly maritime note.
