Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is a Japanese blended malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It belongs to a range named in honour of Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka and father of Japanese whisky.
The range is meant to show the complexity and precision of blending, and this bottling is described as one of Nikka's signature products. It is characterised by a gentle malt flavour, fruitiness and a very well-balanced taste.
