Nikka Taketsuru

Nikka Taketsuru is a Japanese whisky from the Nikka company, which was set up by Taketsuru, who learned the trade in Scotland in the early 20th century. He spent several years on placements at various Scottish distilleries, where he met his wife, Rita, and he later established the whisky industry in Japan. Nikka now has two distilleries, Miyagikyo and Yoichi.
