Yoichi Single Malt is a Japanese single malt from the Yoichi Distillery, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Yoichi was the first distillery Nikka built, in 1934. Its founder, Masataka Taketsuru, chose the town of Yoichi in Hokkaido because its environmental conditions resemble those of Scotland, where he learned the craft of making whisky.
