Nikka Yoichi Single Malt comes from Nikka's first distillery, on the coast of Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit is made using older methods such as direct coal heating. It is a blend of Yoichi casks of various ages, a large portion of them ex-sherry casks.
It is described as balancing smoky, fruity and floral aromas, with coastal and peat notes running through it.
