Ninkasi Whisky 2017/2020 3 Year Old Experience Pinot Noir (46.3%)

A French single malt from Ninkasi Craft Distillery, distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2020 at three years old and 46.3% ABV. It is one of 3,100 bottles, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky first spent three and a half years in white wine casks from the Burrier Château de Beauregard estate. It then received a finish in American white oak casks that had previously held Pinot Noir. The malt is made from pilsner brewing malt. It is described as a rounded malt with notes of caramel, reduced grape must and pecans.
