This is an 11 year old Tamdhu single malt from Speyside, the third edition of the High Proof series from North Star Spirits and Sansibar Whisky. It was distilled in 2014, matured in a sherry hogshead and bottled in 2026 at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle.
It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
The nose combines rich fruit with the warm sweetness of sherry wood. On the palate fruit leads, given shape by strength, warm sweetness and depth. The finish is long and intense, with fruit and sherry warmth carrying on.
