It is described as a heavily peated whisky, made for those who want a smoky side to Springbank's single malt.
The nose is dry, with mild peat and smoked lemon, then apples, malty sweetness and coconut. On the palate peat and smoke sit in elegant balance with liquorice and grapefruit bitterness. The finish brings malt, smoke and cask together.
