An agricole rum from Madeira, bottled at cask strength. It matured for nine months in Madeira wine casks. The bottle holds 700 ml at 57.5% vol.
On the nose there are light notes of Bolo de Mel, a traditional cake from the Madeira islands, along with banana, salty olives and Madeira wine. The palate brings black olives, berries, pineapple, mango, freshly pressed sugar cane and Madeira wine. The finish is grassy and closes the balanced mouthfeel.
