Oban 11 Years Old Special Release 2023 is a limited-edition single malt from the Oban distillery in the West Highlands. It was matured in ex-bourbon and refill American oak casks and bottled at a cask strength of 55.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings fresh sea air, sweet citrus and gentle peat smoke. The palate is medium-bodied, with brine-tinged minerality, orange marmalade, toasted oak and a touch of smoke. The finish is long, with honey and a subtle marine saltiness.
