Oban Heart of the Harbour is a 12 year old cask strength single malt Scotch whisky from the 2025 Special Release collection, bottled at 54.7% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It was matured in bourbon casks and is a limited edition made in Oban, which the distillery describes as Scotland's smallest distillery town.
The nose combines honey, spice and toffee with sea breeze, sand dunes, seaweed and citrus peel. The palate is creamy, with syrupy peaches, warm spices and a vanilla-nut backbone from the oak. The finish is medium to long and warming, with gentle oak tannin and a little coastal salt.
