Oban 15 Year Old Port Cask Finish is a single malt bottled at 52.1% ABV. It is the second release in Oban's 15-year cask-finished series, inspired by the shared seafaring history of Oban and Porto.
Finishing in Port casks is intended to bring bright red fruit and sweet, spicy flavours alongside the maritime character of the distillery.
The nose is gentle, with shortbread, sesame, vanilla and brown sugar, a light ashiness and a little salt. On the palate, nutty cereal sits under dried apple, cinnamon, raisin and clove-studded mandarin.
